The Indian School of Business, in association with the U.S Consulate, launched the Envision Accelerator Program in July 2018 to support five innovative startups that leveraged technology to provide alternate banking solutions in the areas of core FinTech, Healthcare, Energy, and Agriculture. We are proud to share that the Department of Science and Technology, India, also came on board as a partner for this program to support five additional startups.

The aim of the Envision Accelerator was to work closely with the final cohort of ten ventures that were either looking to scale their operations to newer geographies, reach a wider customer base, or design and adapt their business model to fit customer financial needs in the lending, payments, and insurance segments. During the acceleration support, the startups delved in-depth into each of their models to understand their customer needs and what worked for them.
